My first published mod. Originally released on March 25, 2013. Reuploaded for archival purposes.


This was an early attempt at recreating the battle in Theed from The Phantom Menace. It is the vanilla Naboo map but with the default sky of the custom map template (it looks like early morning/late evening with a small amount of fog). Only vanilla units are used, with the droid marine from space battles used in place of the super battle droid and assault droid, facing the Naboo guards from the campaign (with two unused classes). Heroes are Darth Maul for the Trade Federation, and the Queen of Naboo for the Republic.


Nowadays, there's mods that do the same thing as this but better, but I figure I'd keep this available if anyone's still interested.

Battle of Naboo: Theed v1.0 by CommanderAwesome
This is my first (working) mod map for SWBF2, it is based off of the Second Battle of Theed at the end of Episode I.

Installation:
Exract to (where you installed Battlefront II)/GameData/Addon

Default locations for the game are:

For disk users: C:/Program Files (x86)/LucasArts/Star Wars Battlefront II

For Steam users: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Star Wars Battlefront II Classic
