File Description

Slight minor update. Sorta.

Added score freezers for Assault and Capture The Flag modes. Also tried adding a freeze credits function for GC mode, as per a request, but that didn't work out so I sorta had to take it back out.

Hopefully I can get freeze credits working with the 1.1 patch, but it's going to take me quite a while, so I figured I'd release this small update now for those who might want infinite-duration space battles and/or CTF games.

Oh, yeah, the trainer also uses hotkeys now instead of buttons (so it can be turned on/off from inside the game), and it hopefully doesn't look so tacky any more.

More details and such in the readme.

Not much else I need to say here. If it floats your boat, download it. Just make sure to read the readme for more information and so you don't get confused about how it works.

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II
=======================

TITLE: Kouen's SWBF2 Warfare Trainer
AUTHOR: Kouen
EMAIL: kouen{AT}quakewarsfiles{DOT}com

FILENAME: warfare.exe
VERSION: 1.0
FILESIZE: 722kb
RELEASE DATE: 29th February 2008

--------------------------------------------
Installation/Usage Instructions
--------------------------------------------
Simply extract warfare.exe to any location on your hard drive, and run it. You will see a list of shortcut key combinations. Simply press any of these combinations while playing Star Wars
Battlefront 2 to activate or deactivate the relevant feature.

-----------------
Description
-----------------
A simple hotkey-driven trainer for Star Wars Battlefront 2, initially designed to freeze the scores
for both teams on Conquest mode, but now expanded to have some more toys.

Again, all team score features affect both teams.

---------------
Changelog
---------------
>> Version 1.0
# Added Assault score freezer.

# Added "on" and "off" sound effects for hotkeys.
# Redesigned the interface.
# Trainer SHOULD now be compatible with Battlefront 2 patch version 1.1.

>> Version 0.9

as opposed to infinite shots in the clip.

# Added CTF score freezer.

>> Version 0.8
# Added infinite clip ammo.

>> Version 0.7
# First released version.

Bugs
--------
Like the previous file, some virus scanners will flag it for H@TKEYS.DLL.

Your firewall may also warn you that this version is trying to monitor your keystrokes. It's supposed
to do this, so that it knows when you press the keys to activate features. It will only 'listen' to keys
pressed while you're actively playing Battlefront 2 (it stops listening if you Alt+Tab out or if the BF2
window is deselected), and it will ignore any key combos pressed that don't correspond with it's
functions. In other words, it only monitors the keys I told it to monitor, and those are listed in the
trainer window.

Like the previous version, if you downloaded this from BattlefrontFiles, then you have my personal
assurance that it's clean. If you got it from anywhere else, then I'm afraid I can't make that promise -
the only site I submitted this to, is BattlefrontFiles, so if it's up anywhere else then it sure wasn't
uploaded there by me, and it may have been tampered with.

Since this trainer works by locking values, not altering them, it's possible that you may not be able
to have your full team of units on the field if you lock reinforcements when they're below your AI
Units setting. This cannot be helped, I'm afraid, because Battlefront 2 has an internal equation
telling it that the number of in-game units can only be equal to or less than the number of remaining
reinforcements. So, to prevent this, make sure to lock your reinforcements at the start of the match.

If you find anything else, email me, since I've only tested this with my setup there may be issues
on other systems that I couldn't trigger while testing. So, let me know if you find anything.

Comments
----------------
- Naturally, don't use this in online games. It's lame, and it'll probably get you banned from the
server, so....

- Random Trivia: At any point during a game of Battlefront 2, there are approximately 74,667,622
memory addresses whose values are set at zero.

I used two sound effects from Sonic The Hedgehog. The ring sound to alert you that you've turned
a feature on, the "Sonic lost a life!" sound to alert you that you've turned a feature off.
