I think everyone thought of episodes 6 end where all people celebtate the death of the emporer and the death star. :)

I think I'd perfer Tatooine. Not so many people but not completely remote either.

exploding Death Stars is the best firework IMHO

Cloud City for sure! It's in the middle of the clouds and would make for a great party. Coruscant is too crowded.

I picked Coruscant as well. However, there was the time over Endor in 4 ABY that the aforementioned "biggest firework" blew up, and I personally like the peace and tranquility of Alderaan (until it got blown up), but Coruscant is the classic "big city" to throw a New Year's party in, so that why I picked it.

coruscant -high levels: i get lost, but have a good time -lower levels: i'm robbed, i get lost, and have an interesting time at least cloud city... yeah sure tatooine... i dunno alderaan, is go bang endor, the ewoks will kill me (long and humorous story that i'm not going to tell right now) naboo sounds nice...for a lake retreat... so i dunno

Little known fact- The destruction of Alderaan was actually an accident during the Empire's own New Years celebration. They just turned it into a show of force during the coverup.

Cloud City. Just imagine.... The planet Bespin's main Atmosphere is Tibanna gas. Tibanna gas is put into blasters to make them more powerful, and they are also used in many explosives. Now, I know of some people who celebrate with fireworks. So just imagine how much better the fireworks would be with Tibanna gas.

Endor....we rebels blew up a Death Star

 #14 - Coruscant - Posted by: vivaEspain (Member) on 01-02-2009 at 06:20

Coruscant would be the best decision, but I prefer to celebrate Earth's new year in the Earth (It's not far, far away from us, but it's our home planet). -vivaEspaña

You rebel scum... nvm, was a joke I still cant understand how a group of bandits assisted by some animals with spears and bows could win against a legion of emperor's best men

Ya I agree, pretty embarressing for the Empire if a legion of elite troops gets beat like that.

The principle of evil marksmanship, kids. Plus, George's black/white notions of good/evil were extremely childish, thus making stormtroopers completely incompetent.
