Well, here we have Kashyyyk: Shores (Version 2.1). A bit unexpected, no? Anyways, I have written what this version corrects from the last version. This would be a mandatory download from the previous version to this version. It has quite a bit of changes, including a new Command Post.

And last, but not least, read the freakin' README file.

Again, remember:

I mean it.

Well, I cannot review my own file as we have all cometo hear one too many times. So, I hope you will all enjoy this version.

By the way, new screenshots won't really be added. Only three screenshots to show you one of the highlights of this version: every vehicle can now be used by any team. That's right, you'll see Rebel troops jumping into TIE Fighters and taking off!

Installation:

Run the self-extractor.

Remove KasS from GameData\AddOn folder.


Description:

Well, this is my Kashyyyk: Shores (Version 2.1) map that you all have been hearing about.
It takes places in a sea of Kashyyyk with islands and a Wookiee village on one of the islands.

First things first, the only glitch, yet an important one to know about:

The map crashes when you are near the Vulture Droid Starfighter on the big CIS base in the CW Era.
Just stay away from that island in the beginning of the game in the CW Era.

Here's what has changed since the last version:

* A new Command Post has been added.
* The TIE Interceptor has been added (Saturn_V_SWBF's work).
* The Rebel Bothan Spy has been added (Psych0fred's work).
* Some bot routes are better.
* New landing points have been added.
* The AI will use new ways of getting into areas and around obstacles.
* The barriers, bot routes, and landing points are polished and streamlined.
* New routes exist, making it harder to defend the Wookiee Village.
* Every vehicle is now useable by anyone. Repeat: anyone. That's right, you'll now see Imperials jump into T-65 X-wings and so on!

Here's the stuff from the last README file:

This version has so much more new stuff.
The Galactic Empire and the Galactic Republic have two sweet new vehicles, the Imperial Waveskimmer Transport and the Republic Waveskimmer Transport.
I reskinned the Droid Starfighter and turned into the Vulture Droid Starfighter from RotS.
I also added the 74-Z Military Speederbike (Sniper Variation) that was found in my Myrkr: Show of Force (Version 1.1) map.
The HMP Droid Gunship (formerly and incorrectly called the MAF), the LAAT/i, and the ILAAT/i were given cannon speed boosts, weapon boosts, speed boosts, and health boosts.
The ILAAT/i and the Prototype IAAT also exist on this map.
The Imperial Officer has been removed due to complications.
Every vehicle, weapon, and soldier now have realistic names.
Every vehicle now has the weapons from the movies. They are all movie realistic.
Every vehicle explosion now kills or hurts now, too.
Almost every crashing issue has been fixed.
The Imperial Phase II Dark Trooper has the new T-21 Light Repeating blaster that was found in my Myrkr: Show of Force (Version 1.1) map.

This map could have never been created without L-5-R's and Saturn_V_SWBF's help.
I also used L-5-R's T-21 Light Repeating Blaster model.
Also, I cannot forget my loyal tester, -=RedKitten=-. He tested every version for me and told me of what to add.
I added an underwater sunken Wookiee village for him as well.

First things first, an apology for how bad the distance range is.
I had to lower it and lower it more so the game wouldn't crash.
You may still experience crashes because of the whole map being filled with water.
Try lowering settings too if needed. It does not crash for me!
Sometimes it is just a typical SWBF crash. Many shipped and user-made maps do this.

The map takes place on Kashyyyk and it can be played in both Eras.
There is a ton of water, so slower computers may experience lag.
The AAT and STAP are TK-8252's creations.
I removed the missiles from the AAT because it was crashing the map every once in a while.

CW Era Story- The CIS is attacking Kashyyyk in order to enslave them.
The Republic has forged an alliance with the Wookiees and are trying their best to stop the CIS.
This was kind of supposed to parallel the Battle of Kashyyyk in RotS.

GCW Era Story- The Rebel Alliance has allied with the Wookiees.
Kashyyyk, an Imperial-held world, is struggling for freedom from the Empire.
The Wookiees have joined the Rebel Alliance in this battle.
The Empire is trying to stop the Rebel Alliance from liberating Kashyyyk.

One might think that too many Wookiess spawn, but think, this is the Wookiee homeworld.
