First of all I would like to mention that this map can be played in both eras. The terrain is actually well thought out and you'll notice that it is a large map. A vehicle would probably be the best means of transportation. There are a lot of control points which you need to capture. I thought some of them were placed a bit close together but it's not a bad thing. When playing it you will notice that this map sort of gives you a warm feeling. It's so much fun playing this beautiful map. I don't think there is any reason to dislike it. All the textures are high resolution and look stunning. Also all the bugs in the previous version have been fixed. I don't think there is any need for me to mention them as they are listed in the readme.
I thought some of the bots were standing around doing nothing. I literally stood before them and they still didn't fire at me. It's not really that hard to achieve victory despite what you may think.
Give it a download. 25 meg is hardly a killer :)
Made by: Majin Revan Contact: MajinRevan@gmail.com Installation: Place Nab3 folder in GameData\AddOn folder. Uninstallation: Remove Nab3 from GameData\AddOn folder. Description: Yeah!! The final version of Naboo: Encounter has arrived (unless there are new circumstances, etc.). This version is like the last version on steroids. It is pumped and brutally addictive. My tester and I actually had a hard time when we tried to stop playing...we couldn't. It's too addictive. This map could have never been created without L-5-R's and Saturn_V_SWBF's help. L-5-R actually helped too much. -=RedKitten=-, thanks a lot for testing!! Saturn_V_SWBF helped a ton as well. He told me things that could have helped if I had known them earlier. Thanks, you guys!! Anyways, here is a list of everything that has been improved/changed/added: Addition of the Prototype IAAT (Prototype Imperial Armored Assault Tank). The AAT sounds and missiles now work perfectly. The Hailfire has been modified to a strength that it should have. Consider it a VERY useful vehicle now. In AotC, you see them tearing up AT-TE's. That is possible now. The Jedi and Sith both have been granted Force Powers, the ability to capture bases, and yes...the ability to enter vehicles!! Textures have been fixed, blended, and optimized. AI bot routes have been refined. Terrain that was very rugged and that caused bots (and live players) to get stuck has been blended for accessability. The ramp that leads to the Plateau is actually...a ramp. It is no longer an odd jumble of bumps and sharp angles that you have to jump your way up. The music now plays!! Everything now has a name in the vehicle lists of Command Posts. Other minor problems and issues were fixed. The following vehicles have been modified to make them more Star Wars realistic: AT-TE, LAAT/i (Republic Gunship- Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry), Republic Speederbike, MTT, STAP, AAT, Hailfire Droid, Imperial Speederbike, Imperial Fighter Tank, and AT-ST. The map takes place on Naboo and it can be played in both Eras. There are tons of vehicles, so slower computers may experience lag. The better MTT is newly created by me. It has new laser cannons, more health, perfect speed, and a better turning rate. Also, the AT-ST is L-5-R's creation, very well made, I say. The AAT, STAP, and AT-TE are TK-8252's creations. If the Hovernaught is ever fixed, it shall make an appearance in this map. It is a beautiful vehicle, which crashes the game... The Gungans aren't here for two reasons, CW Era reason and GCW Era reason, here they are: CW Era Reason- The Gungans were sick of fighting after the Battle of Naboo. They were still recovering from the massive battle with the Trade Federation. GCW Era Reason- The Gungans have gone into hiding and haven't been seen since the Battle of Naboo. Nobody knows where they are. Perhaps they have been wiped out or maybe they are still hiding. Special Thanks: Thank you, my testers: -=RedKitten=- Thank you, for helping: Jedi Master L-5-R TK-8252 Saturn_V_SWBF Psych0fred Lord Bandu Rends Eddie And Others Glitches: None really, the radar map is a bit out of proportion. I couldn't fix it for some odd reason. Legal Stuff: THIS LEVEL IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY LUCASARTS, A DIVISION OF LUCASFILM ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LTD.
