D-21

The D-21 cruiser is a larger cousin of the D-17 destroyer. The unique feature of the D-21 is that it's the only Klingon vessel to be equipped with holographic emitters in it's brig, part of a program researching the possiblility of equipping Klingon vessles with holographic interrogation facilities. During testing excessive accounts of minor misconduct resulting in extended stays in detention convinced the High Command to discontinue the program. Many of these ships are still equipped with the device however, and the D-21 is a prize possesion for many Klingon captains. Class: Light Cruiser (CL)
