Description: These files will add the NSEA Protector from the movie Galaxy Quest to your Starfleet Command III game.

Installation Instructions:	1.	Extract the Protector folder and place it in in your models folder for SFC3 (default location is c:\Program Files\Activision\Sfc3\Assets\Models).

				2.	Add ship specs to your DefaultCore text file (default location is C:\Program Files\Activision\Sfc3\Assets\Specs\DefaultCore.txt).
					Recommended specs:

25	BCH	2200	0	1500	7500	1800	5500	22000	Fed-Battlecruiser2	Protector	PrimaryHP:1:240_300:2:60_120:3:300_360:4:0_60:5:270_330:6:30_90:7:180_240:8:120_180	HeavyHP:12:330_30:13:330_30:14:165_195:15:165_195	HullHP:1:2:3	BridgeHP:1:2	ship	Mines:8:32:8	Marines:15:30:15	Shuttles:4:8:4
For best results, copy the lines above, open DefaultCore in Wordpad (NOT Notepad), and paste the above lines below the information for the Sovereign.

				3.	Add the default ship configuration to you DefaultLoadOut text file (default location is C:\Program Files\Activision\Sfc3\Assets\Specs\DefaultLoadOut.txt).
					Recommend configuration:

For best results, copy the lines above, open DefaultCore in Wordpad (NOT Notepad), and paste the above lines below the information for the Sovereign.

				4.	Add the ship's name to the shipnames text file (default location is C:\Program Files|Activision\Sfc3\Assets\Strings\shipnames.txt). Copy the following line and paste them into the shipnames file.

|Fed-Battlecruiser2|NSEA Protector

				5.	Important! If you already have a model designated Fed-Battlecruiser2 installed, change the number after Fed-Battlecruiser in all three of these entries to a number not yet used after Fed-Battlecruiser in your entries.

Changes/additions made by me:	redid weapon hardpoints on the model
added dummy objects to the model for damage allocation
				capped holes on break model
added damage textures (based on damage textures for stock Sovereign)
added BS, VL, and TI images
				added glow groups
positioned hardpoints on VL and TI layouts
added ship information for Vessel Library screen

Programs Used: Starfleet Command III, 3ds max 4.2, Adobe Photoshop CS 8.0, Taldren's ModelAttributeEditor and ReCasher (included in SFC3_ModelTools)

Atra-Hasis deserves full credit for this model. I simply made it work well in SFC3. This conversion was done out of love for Star Trek, Starfleet Command III, and Galaxy Quest. I am in no way affiliated with any entity owning any rights to any of the aformentioned products/franchises. These files are for free distribution. If you wish to alter or add anything to this ship or use it or any part of it in a modification and subsequently share it, please contact both Atra-Hasis and myself before you do so.

Thank you for downloading this ship. Please send me an email to let me know how you feel about it. Please feel free to let me know of any changes, corrections, or additions that you would like to see in this ship.
