Description: These files will add the TOS Era Hermes Class starship from to your Starfleet Command III game. This ship's specs have been balanced to reflect the ship's older technology, so this ship is significantly weaker than TNG era ships of the same class size.

Installation Instructions:	1.	Extract the TOS_Hermes folder and place it in in your models folder for SFC3 (default location is c:\Program Files\Activision\Sfc3\Assets\Models).

				2.	Add ship specs to your DefaultCore text file (default location is C:\Program Files\Activision\Sfc3\Assets\Specs\DefaultCore.txt).
					Recommended specs:

10	FF	600	0	750	1800	150	2200	6000	Fed-TOSScout	TOS_Hermes	PrimaryHP:1:300_60:2:240_300:3:60_120	HeavyHP:12:330_30	HullHP:1:2:3	BridgeHP:1:2	ship	Mines:3:12:3	Marines:6:12:6	Shuttles:1:2:1

					For best results, copy the lines above, open DefaultCore in Wordpad (NOT Notepad), and paste the above lines below the information for the ship after which you want this ship to appear in the vessel library.

				3.	Add the default ship configuration to you DefaultLoadOut text file (default location is C:\Program Files\Activision\Sfc3\Assets\Specs\DefaultLoadOut.txt).
					Recommend configuration:

Federation	Fed-TOSScout	Hermes	TOS_Hermes			F-TRACTOR-I:3	F-TRANSPORTER-I:1	F-ARMOR-I:2	F-COMPUTER-II:1	F-WARP-I:1	F-IMPULSE-I:2	F-THRUSTER-I:3	PHASER IXS:1	OFFICER:ENGINEER:	OFFICER:SECURITY:	OFFICER:HELM:	OFFICER:OPS:	OFFICER:TACTICAL:	OFFICER:MEDICAL:	F-SHIELD-I:1	F-SHIELD-I:2	F-SHIELD-I:4	F-SHIELD-I:3

					For best results, copy the lines above, open DefaultCore in Wordpad (NOT Notepad), and paste the above lines below the information for the ship after which you want this ship to appear in the vessel library.

				4.	Add the ship's name to the shipnames text file (default location is C:\Program Files|Activision\Sfc3\Assets\Strings\shipnames.txt). Copy the following line and paste them into the shipnames file.

|Fed-TOSScout|USS Hermes

||USS Anubis
||USS Batidor
||USS Bowie
||USS Bridger
||USS Carson
||USS Cody
||USS Crockett
||USS Diana

				5.	Important! If you already have a model designated Fed-TOSScout	installed, add a number after Fed-TOSScout in all three of these entries that is not yet used after Fed-TOSScout in your entries.

This is an altered version of Lord Shctupp's Saladin Class starship model.

Changes/additions made by me:	removed some visible weapons points on the model
				redid weapon hardpoints on the model
				retextured the ship to show the Hermes ship name and registry number
				added damage textures
				added BS, VL, and TI images
				added glow groups
				positioned hardpoints on VL and TI layouts
				added ship information for Vessel Library screen
				added ship names from Franz Joseph's Starfleet Technical Manual

Programs Used: Starfleet Command III, 3ds max 4.2, Adobe Photoshop CS 8.0, dderidex's SFC3 Util, Taldren's ModelAttributeEditor and ReCasher (included in SFC3_ModelTools)

Lord Schtupp deserves full credit for this model. I simply made it work well in SFC3. This conversion was done out of love for Star Trek and Starfleet Command III. I am in no way affiliated with any entity owning any rights to any of the aformentioned products/franchises. These files are for free distribution. If you wish to alter or add anything to this ship or use it or any part of it in a modification and subsequently share it, please contact both Lord Schtupp and myself before you do so.

Thank you for downloading this ship. Please send me an email to let me know how you feel about it. Please feel free to let me know of any changes, corrections, or additions that you would like to see in this ship.
