For those that would like to know, Stargate Infinity is coming to Region 1 DVD sometime in the middle of 2008. The animated show is already avaliable for those in the UK, Europe and other areas that have Region 2. All of its 26 episodes will be released together, although this series is technically speaking non canon, which means there would be no references to this in the Stargate Shows or Movies. For those that don't know, the series is set about 30 years after Stargate SG-1 and is based upon an Officer being framed by a Shape Shifting alien. The Officer must find a way to clear his name and leads a group of young cadets from the stargate program back to earth at the same time.
The short lived animated series Stargate Infinity will finally get the full DVD treatment next year, according to a report today at TVShowsOnDVD.com. Infinity ran for one season on FOX's Saturday morning block and in syndication (2002-2003). The series was produced by DIC Entertainment (Inspector Gadget, Care Bears). The animated series consists of 26 episodes, of which only four have been previously released on DVD (pictured right). The full-series collection will be distributed by Shout! Factory Entertaiment in the United States (Region 1 - North America), and is on their schedule for a mid-2008 release.
For More information Please Click here - http://www.gateworld.net/news/2007/12/istargate_infinityi_coming_to_dv.shtml
