File Description

Thermae is one of the best new architecture mods that I have ever seen. It adds a roman bathhouse to the waterfront area of the Imperial city. This mod uses mostly new meshes for the buildings, and the author did a great job with both the models and the textures that accompany them. Along with that, the author adjusted the lighting levels and ambients inside the bathhouse to give the perfect relaxing atmosphere, while keeping it realistic and oblivionesque.

The term "thermae" was a word the ancient Romans used for the buildings housing their public baths.

Copy the Data folder into your Oblivion directory.

The thermae is located in Waterfront district, across from Bloated Float, and through the short tunnel.

The following "blessings" can be received at the thermae once per day:

*** The numbers used may not be final, and could be subject to change ***

Restore Health, Fatigue, and Magicka 100%
Fortify Health, Fatigue, and Magicka for 45 minutes, from 20 to 30 to 40 pts each, depending on random selection.

Shouldn't be any incompatibilites. NPCs modified are not essential to quests.

* Cleaned up the mod with TES4 Plugin Utility. There will be less conflicts now.
* Increased depth of both bodies of water. Some NPCs and players will now swim in the "deep end" of the large pool.
* Water is now less transparent.
* Changed the strength of the spell effects.
* Moved the "pop" location when entering the bath. Hopefully NPCs won't spawn behind the walls now.

You may use the included textures and models in other mods, as well as improve on this mod in anyway.
