The Skyblivion mod team has released a new cinematic trailer showcasing its efforts to rebuild Oblivion using the engine from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and, quite frankly, it looks stunning.
The trailer, which runs just over two minutes in length, features some amazing voice acting, looks as good as any game trailer you'd expect to see from a mainstream gaming studio. It shows off the amazing scenery and enemies, as well as introducing you to the plot of Oblivion.
It contains many winks and nods to cutscenes from the original Oblivion, and shows off the various forests, caves, and cities of Cyrodiil. Combined with a fantastic rendition of the Elder Scrolls theme, I am not sure I've ever been more excited for a mod release.
Sadly there's no release date for the mod yet, but stay tuned to GameFront for more news as it happens, and in the meanwhile, you can keep tabs on the project at it's official website.
