I would like to introduce you to EA-Land, a world that is free-to-play, and based on a re-engineered The Sims Online architecture. Yes, free. As most of you know, the original Sims Online game had stopped being developed after October 2003. EA has now created EA-Land which will host The Sims Online. The Sims Online will begin to be developed each week on a Wednesday, and all players will be able to play for free. If you have an existing Sims Online account you will be able to reactivate that account before March 2008. Some features of the new Sims Online: [list] [*]The new Sims Online will have an all new huge map containing the previous 12 cities of The Sims Online. [*]There will be a blog by the creators to keep users up-to-date, and users will now be able to contribute ideas to help design the game. [*]Custom content is now enabled and can be shared with other users. [*]An all new economy will be added to make the game more interesting and to prevent a multitude of billionaires. [*]There will be web services and social services available to help you keep track of your sims wherever you go!
