Creative Assembly have released the specs for their upcoming Total War Game, Three Kingdoms. We've posted the recommended specifications listed on their blog first and will list the minimum ones below that.

The game has taken a big step forward in terms of graphics and detail, the main move is moving to temporal anti-aliasing (TAA). It is a form of anti-aliasing (AA) that does not take up as much performance as multi-sample anti-aliasing does whilst also looking better visually too which means that your framerate won't take a massive dive by you just wanting that extra bit of visual performance. The Total War team said that getting this right was one of the reasons of the delay in the game release but if it works out then brilliant. There is a drawback in that TAA does not work with traditional Crossfire and SLI which rely on alternative frame rendering techniques which are at odds with TAA.

So with all of this we expect the game to be great visually with also not reducing the performance of the game. The team have also implemented a new better than ever depth of field solution and two different options which are "romance" for rich and vibrant color saturation and "records" which feature a lighter more realistic color saturation. They've also boosted the texture details of various materials like skin, leather, wood and metal and put in a screen space shadows for better textures under shaded areas.

Looks like the team have been seriously hard at work on getting the graphics part of the game right and so should they, this is the Total War game that is going to go above and beyond! Without further adieu I'll let you go into the game specs:
