The concept was based on Ambition from UT. Basically, players earn weapons instead of picking them up. Everyone starts out with the Translocator (if enabled), Shield Gun, and an Assault Rifle with 250 rounds and 8 grenades. If you get the configured amount of kills you get the BioRifle, and if you get the same amount more, you get the Shock Rifle, and so on (up to the Redeemer).

Installation:

Simply unzip Ambition.u and Ambition.int into your UT2003\system directory.
Servers don't need to add it to server packages. Enjoy!

The concept was based on Ambition from UT.
Basically, players earn weapons instead of picking them up. Everyone starts
out with the Translocator (if enabled), Shield Gun, and an Assault Rifle
with 250 rounds and 8 grenades. If you get the configured amount of kills
you get the BioRifle, and if you get the same amount more, you get the
Shock Rifle, and so on (up to the Redeemer).



I included a nice config menu for you control freaks:


Kill Requirement (1-5)     --- Determines how many kills players need to get
                               the next weapon.

Increment Kill Requirement --- Determines wether or not the Kill Requirement
                               will increment. Best used with a Kill
                               Requirement of one.

Give Weapons With Max Ammo --- Determines wether or not weapons are given
                               with maximum ammo. If unchecked, weapons will
                               be given with the default ammo. Best checked
                               for Bombing Run, Domination and medium-large
                               team games. Best unchecked for Deathmatch
                               (balances it a little more.)

Reward Players With Shield --- Determines wether or not players get shield
                               when they earn a weapon. Amount depends on
                               the level of the weapon they've earned. Check
                               this if you want to make it easier to stay
                               alive. :) Probably best used on CTF matches.



I used the WOTgreal editing program to make this mutator. I recommend it to
anyone that makes mods/mutators. Many thanks to the author for making it and
