*The author specifies that this map should be played with Low Grave mutator enabled, so it was played as such* A very, VERY large map, to say the least, ultimately, its what kills the map. Bot pathing is great, they fight great, and the map looks really good, kind of a limbo-universe-in-a-box type feel, but the size is simply to great for its own good. Even with low grav, it still takes a fort night to get across the map, and then, once you get the flag, its all for naught, because all that open space, basically translates to sniped before you get to far from the base. A well designed map with possibilities, but way to large for its own good.

Readme
This is yet another gigantic Dead Cat Low-Gravity CTF frag fiesta for your gaming enjoyment. The entire map is pathed, but the bots will NOT use the lower level for offense. That is an intentional choice on my part as it reserves the power-ups and super weapons for the human players. If you run the flag through the lower level, they will pursue you on defense.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This map was expressly designed to be run on Low Gravity servers. Many of the verticals are based on the height of the Low-G double-jump. It works just fine in Normal-G...It's just kind'a huge....:-)

The map runs quite well on the following rig at 1280x1024 with all other settings turned up to maximum: 

Athlon XP-1800 CPU
Leadtek A250 GeForce4 Ti4600
512Mbs of DDR RAM
Nothing is overclocked.

The map runs acceptably on the following rig at 1024x768 with all other settings turned to normal except "World Detail" which is set to "High"...Anything lower than "High" and the snow will not work: 

Athlon 1.2Ghz CPU
Xtasy GeForce2 Ti
512Mbs of SDRAM
Nothing is overclocked.

If you have anything weaker than that, you will almost certainly drop below 30 frames in areas unless you reduce the resolution to 800x600 or less...Then it will run on almost anything. 

The map contains all of the weapons including a SuperShock Rifle...Good luck getting it...:-)

To use Ancient Evil-DCSE, please do the following: 

.1) Unzip the CTF-AncientEvil-DCSE.ut2 file into your ut2003maps directory

DO NOT CONVERT THIS MAP TO BOMBING RUN...DO NOT ASK PERMISSION TO CONVERT IT AS I WILL NOT GIVE IT TO YOU. IT'S PURPOSE-BUILT AS A CTF MAP AND IT DOES NOT WORK WELL AS A BR LEVEL. I HAVE TRIED IT AND THERE ARE ABOUT A DOZEN REASONS WHY IT FAILS IN THAT GAME MODE...JUST DON'T DO IT!
