Cryogenic Prison Facility? Spinning spacestation? Just a big ole tube? Take your pick. This is my 5th map for UT2003 and this time I've tried to realize a map idea I've had since the days of Quake 2. Basically it's just a very long verticle tube with bases put at equal distances from each other. Smaller tubes on the outside contain teleporters and lifts for getting around. I've thought of doing this as both a skyscraper and an ancient castle but finally I settled for the hightech space-station like design it is now.

pick. This is my 5th map for UT2003 and this time I've tried to realize a map idea 
I've had since the days of Quake 2. Basically it's just a very long verticle tube 
with bases put at equal distances from each other. Smaller tubes on the outside 
contain teleporters and lifts for getting around. I've thought of doing this as both 
a skyscraper and an ancient castle but finally I settled for the hightech space-
station like design it is now.

* Tactics, tips & hints *
==============================================================

1) There is a secret room with a damage amplifier in it. Use one of the red lifts
and do a lift jump in order to find one of two teleporter platforms that takes you
to the room. It's easier if you face the central column while doing the jump and then
turn 180 degrees at the jump's apex. Since the return teleporters exit in the red base,
the secret room can be used as a 3rd & 4th path of attack for the blue team on the red 
base.

2) The middle platform is "neutral ground" and is low gravity. You can jump from
the red base and survive a landing on "neutral ground" taking 60-70 points of damage.
You will probably NOT survive if you try jumping from "neutral ground" to the blue base.

3) Use your translocator to move between platforms without taking damage. Use the TL camera
to be sure that the TL disc has landed safely. Red team can use it as a 3rd path for attacking 
the blue base.

4) DO NOT forget the lifts at the backs of the the side columns. They provide alternative paths.
If you need a lift from neutral ground to one of the bases just move close to the the "callbox" on
the wall opposite one of the side tubes central columns to "call the lift". You get a text indicator
when the elevator is called for you.
