Construction

Base: Original Map
Build Time: 6 weeks - aprox 50 hours a week (including modeling/texture time)
Recommended # of Players: 4-8
Editor(s) Used: UnrealEd3.0

Known Bugs: Should be pretty much ok. Other than needing a good sytem/card to run it well. It HAS been optomised greatly - antiportals, zones, meshes optomised, texture sizes optomised - if it does slow down for you it`s because of the detail in the level (and maybe the loop movers - I left out half of them for performance reasons)

Author's Notes

A small/Medium size Deathmatch map. This map DOES have good flow but will take a few goes to get the hang of. A lot of time went into creating a `unique` and different enviroment so please do NOT rip this map or the meshes. If you want to use a certain mesh then give credit in the readme, but do NOT make a `different` version of Starfall (ctf etc) that is for me to consider and do in my own time.

Some tips:

1.Double jump onto the high door platform to get into the top of the research station (obvious)

2.Double jump over the rocks by the high pool to get to sniper rifle - you are not `supposed` to climb up from the grassy area so don`t say I didn`t warn you. Note bots WILL also jump over here.

3.Once here you can take the `high` road - jumping from plant to plant - feels great when you get good at it, plus you can pick up a few little items (and get across the outdoors quicker)

4.The redeemer cage is toggled by the `eye` switch above it - shoot to toggle the cage closed/open - you can trap a greedy player here and either leave him (and laugh at him) or shoot him through the `bars` - note it will also crush them if they are under it when it is closed. ( I suppose I should tell you that you CAN release yourself from this by looking up and shooting the trigger through the bars.)

5.There is one way up each hill from the ground level - these are pretty obvious as everything else is pretty much blocked by plants.Look for the clear purple coloured rock (or follow the bots!)

6.Performance on this map depends a lot on CPU power. I find with a decent card (gf4ti4200) that lowering details does little - and of course it looks better at full details - get a new cpu if you feel left out :) Couple of things you can do is turn off decolayers (grass/foliage) this is the biggest draw of fps - note the grass is not high enough to be used as an advantage for those with it off.
