This is Marc A. Johnson's first skin. It's a good skin for a first submision. Here is what I think. The head is fantastic. The job here is well done. The body looks like something out of a Road Runner cartoon. There is very little shading or shadow in the body what so ever. It is well done, but very cartoon looking. If you like this skin don't plan on staying hidden, even in the dark. All things considered its a good submission.

I give this one a 5 of 10. Keep up the good work and I hope to see more form Marc soon.

MAJIK 3.0 - Unreal Tournament 2003 Character Skin.

1.0 - Basically focused on getting the head right.  The body was mostly just a mess of Photoshopping, getting
the hang of skinning.  I used a digtial photo of some black nylon (my camera bag) to create a chainmail-like
texture. No DXT compression used.

2.0 - Took the 1.0 body texture into Adobe Illustrator and began tracing along the mesh outline to block in
the body parts.  As things progressed I began to like the style it was creating.  Not quite a "cell shaded" look
but close.  There were still problems with the texture and the mesh not overlaying correctly in some places.
Some DXT compression used.

3.0 - Same concept but started from scratch.  I first jacked my screen resolution to 1600x1200, opened up UPaint
and grabbed a better high rez mesh outline to work from.  From there it was off to Illustrator again.  I saved as
a bitmap and checked out my progress often with UPaint.  After all the outlining was done I took the file into
Photoshop and applied a new "chainmail" texture.  (I took a better digital photo of the nylon.)  All textures
DXT3 compressed.

I admit there are still a few issues here and there, but over all I feel MAJIK is ready for release.
