This mod converts different map types into CTF maps, it's got a broad range of possible conversions. Including Excessive, Carry the Flag, Faceoff, Systemic CTF, and more.

It also allows you to play CTF with DM, BR, DOM maps with the radar on. Also includes Godz maps, ChaosUT maps, and so on.

It can have some adverse side effects as it modifies the maps, it adds flags and health depots (FaceOff), and changes a few other things in the maps. So this can sometimes cause serious bugs or flat out crashing problems with the maps. So it's a kind of use-at-your-own-risk kind of mod.

Try to convert any maps to CTF maps. (add flags and hide some stuff and add health/ammo pods for FaceOff CTF gametype)
Work fine with a majority of CTF Gametype like Excessive, Carry the flag, FaceOff, Systemic CTF, etc..

Good for spam fest or instagib in DB, DM maps (including Tennis maps).
Play CTF gametype in DM, BR, DOM maps using the radar.
Play CTF in GODZ maps, Chaos UT maps, etc.

Troopers can create conflict when you play online after so you can desactivate the lines like this (when you want to play online)

UT2003 can crash with these custom mod models in standard game also. So use your own bots config with standard models.
In short, after this change you can play FaceOff CTF in Domain's maps for example (if you add DMN maps in the Mutator MapList)
In short 2, if you don't have time to lose don't try this because you have a lot of possibilities.

DON'T USE THE MINIVEHICLES fACEOFF ALPHA MUTATOR WITH THE MAPS CONVERTER MUTATOR (infinit loop)

You need UT2003 with patch 2225


remove CTFconverter.u and CTFconverter.int from your UT2003\system if you already have the first beta version.

to create a Server: 
Add this line under [Engine.GameEngine] section of you ut2003.ini

ServerPackages=MapsConverter100b5

If you want to use FaceOff CTF maps or gametype add these lines:

ServerPackages=FaceOff
ServerPackages=MapsConverterFOStuff

add Deathball and/or Overload serverpackages lines if you use DB and/or OVL maps. (see Deathball / Overload readme)
and add all other .u packages from gametype (maps) you want to use online with this mutator. (more you mix these stuff more you have problems ;))

If you don't want to start with weapons in DB maps or other no weapon maps
set 'Start With Weapons In no weapon maps' to false in the mutator config.

Also if you want to use the mutator only with CTF gametype
uncheck 'Convert no CTF Gametype' from the mutator config menu.
with this config you can configure a standard DM / mixed maps CTF server using mapvote.

You can change the flag location in DM based maps by changing these options in the mutator config menu:

- Try To spawn the flagbase near a Weapon base,  (unchecked = near a playerStart)
- Try To spawn the flagbase under a PathNode.	(unchecked = under a playerStart) (unchecked = possible problems)

- The mutator try to convert all types of maps including DM, GODZ, Chaos UT2, Troopers maps, etc.
- Compatibility with Minivehicles beta 0.9 mutator. For example: You can play minivehicles CTF (except Minivehicles FaceOff) in DB maps.
   (Choose DeathBall gametype and add minivehicles 0.9 mutator and MapsCOnverter 0.4 mutator)
- CliffyB's custom goal xEmitters in BR-IceFields removed. :p
