File Description

This soundpack replaces the annoying default Tony-The-Tiger-pack in UT2k3. After trying this soundpack we are sure you will never want to go back to Tony unless you are too scared hearing the devil commenting your games.

All sounds are recorded by The Devil in Studio 666 using Cool Edit, and some DX-plugins such as Waves RCL compressor. Microphone used is a Shure Beta58A.

You may distribute this pack freely as long as you do not change anything in the distribution including the sounds and the name of the distribution.

Note: It has been commented in the Infogrames forums that some of the sound samples are a little bass heavy. If you feel this is so, turn down your bass equalization adjustments.-Ghost Rider-Site Manager.

Thank you for downloading [tAt]DevilPack beta1!

This is how you install it:

* Open your UT2003 folder.
* Place the Announcer[tAt]Devil.uax in the Sounds-folder.
* Open your UT2003.ini in the system folder with notepad.
* Find the section called [Xinterface.Tab_AudioSettings]
* Add this row to the section:
PackInfo=(PackageName="Announcer[tAt]Devil.uax",Description="[tAt]Devil")
* Save the ini-file
* Start the game
* Change announcer in the Settings, Sounds

If you can't get it to show up, you can try the ugly method... That is, rename your existing AnnouncerMain.uax to e.g. AnnouncerMain.old and then rename Announcer[tAt]Devil.uax to AnnouncerMain.uax. This way, you can't switch between the announcers within the game, but hey - why would you want to? :)
You can always rename the files back to original if you would want to.
