File Description

This App will query a master server list from Epics Website, and will add those Servers to your UT2003.ini file, so that the next time you load ut2003, your Favourites Tab in the Play Online/Lan menu will be populated with servers.

So, again, this will render your favourites tab useles as a way of keeping your favorites seperated from the rest!!! You've been warned :D

UT2003 Server Grabber
---------------------

This App will query a master server list from Epics Website,
and will add those Servers to your UT2003.ini file, so that
the next time you load ut2003, your Favourites Tab in the
Play Online/Lan menu will be populated with servers.

How To Use
----------

1. Set the Path to your UT2003 system Directory (Default c:\ut2003\System\)
2. Set Checkboxes for Options preferred (Default Save Existing Favourites)
3. Click Go!
4. Give me praise.

Once you've added the servers, the next time you load UT2003, choose
Play Online/Lan from the Main Menu, and click the Favourites Tab.
Since the master list has no server names, UT2003 will begin to query each
server and update it with it Server Name. This Server Name will be stored
from now on. Meaning you only need to run this program once to get a pretty
good list.

Other Options
-------------

Save Favourites --> Will save you existing Favourites as well as add new Servers

Transpose Query Port --> Formats the Epic Master list differently to get around a
scrambled query port. Read Webpage about this option and decide whether to
use or not. From testing, more servers are found NOT using this Option, but
different servers are found using this option.

Write to temp.txt --> will write the servers to a text file and NOT to your UT2003.ini
The text file will be in the same directory as the utGrab.exe named temp.txt
The file will be formatted the same way that is required for UT2003.ini

Clean INI --> After you have ran UT2003 and queried server names, use this option
to get rid of all the servers that UT2003 could not query, and save those that have
a server name.

Recommendations
---------------

Add Servers, load UT2003, let the server list query for a a few minutes to load all
the servers that are available. (You can tell if a server has been checked or not by
the status uf the PING column... a ? means UT hasn't queried the server yet, a N/A means
the server was not found.) So wait till all the pings are either numbers or N/A.
When done playing, re-run utGrab.exe and choose Clean INI to remove those servers that
stayed N/A.
You do not need to do this, and in effect you might be removing servers that are temporarily
down, but this will make the list smaller, and thus load faster (if this is an issue to you)

Bugs
----

There is no error checking if the file from the server fails. (program will probably still run,
but will not add any servers to your ut2003.ini.
If the file format on the server changes, this program will probably still run,
but the servers won't be formatted correctly, and it will write usless garbage to you ut2003.ini

Backup
------

A UT2003.BAK File is made when you click Go. It's an exact copy of you UT2003.ini
SO if something happens, you still have your settings. I recommend making another Copy
of your UT2003.ini as well because utGrab also reads fom UT2003.BAK. So if you run the app once,
and it fails to write servers, then try it again, it will write over UT2003.BAK with the UT2003.ini
that has no servers in it.
