Normal ctf game with a twist: before you capture the flag, you and your team must get 4 orbs scattered thoughout the level. Once you have all 4, you have a chance to capture the flag. When someone dies, they drop all orbs they have if any. When you have an orb, your speed decreases. This gametype also has its own karma physics that dont look too good. To play, just put the files in the right folders then selcet it from gametypes. (>^_^)>
Allied CTF --- June 6, 2004 *This is the phase 3 version for UT2004 Thank you for your interest in AlliedCTF aka AllianceCTF. We never quite decided on a name. The zip file includes: alliancemod.u alliancemod.int alliancetex.utx ACTFMenu.utx AlliedmodelTex3.utx readme.txt --- INSTALL: Unzip zip to the UT2004 directory, which should spread alliancemod.u and alliancemod.int to ut2003/system and the *.utx to the ut2004/textures * Keybind throw orbs in control or manually assign "mutate throworb" to a key in user.ini; this will toss an orb out in front of the player --- DESCRIPTION: AlliedCTF is a modification of the standard CTF gametype in UT2003. It is an attempt at fostering more team cooperation in CTF. The flags are surrounded by harmful barriers, protecting the flag from pickup. In order to successfully pick up the flag, a team must hold four orbs inside this barrier. Each orb detriments players a certain way: speed, defense, attack, or jumping ability. This modification includes bot support. Bots will seek out orbs, pass to teammates when they carry too many, and make a run for the flag when their team possesses all four. They also like to stand still and run in circles.
