2.5 Summary
This version of Carball has gone through extensive alpha and beta
testing.  This is the most number changes ever put into Carball between
versions and is very solid.  A couple things to note, when you come into
the first game, be sure and bind the new keys for headlight toggle
and timeout request.  Also, check out the new vehicle screen where
you can customize your chassis skin, wheels, and licenseplates.  You
can even set a name of your choosing 8 characters or less to display
on the plate.  At the top, slide name transparancy as far to the right
as you desire.  The farther to the right, the brighter the names will
be.

With all of the enhancements made to this version, it would be easy
to overshadow the fixes put into place.  You can see by the list below,
however, that it is the same size as the enhancements list.  We are 
confident you will find this to be the most solid version of Carball
to be released.  Please read below the changes list for more indepth 
information on some of the changes.

- Disable weapons in deadball situations.  Boost still available for celebrations.
- Headlight control added.  Can be toggled on and off
- New skins.  Including some with self illumination

Version 2.5 Key Changes explained

Stats Support
   We have included stats support for this and future versions.  It
   reports goals scored, kills, what weapons were held at time of
   death and bonus points.  This was tested with DBstats and it did
   not parse out some of the things reported.  Specifically those
   were goals and bonus stats.  If you would like to take on the job
   of modifying an existing parser or creating a new one, just post
   in the forums and the dev team will send you sample logs.
Time stoppage
   Between rounds, the countdown timer will stop.  This give the team
   scored on the maximum chance of scoring the other way and is consistent
   with other sports.  Time will stop on goal scores and timeouts.
   Timeouts can be called at any time and on the left of the screen a
   pending timeout icon will flash. At the next dead ball situation,
   the timeout will take place and a different icon representing that
   a timeout is in progress will appear. If you request a timeout and
   one is pending or you do not have any timeouts remaining, the game
   will give you feedback to let you know.
Server admin changes
   In the web console or server tabs in UT2004, we have added a few items.
   Timeouts, timeout duration, Overtime delay, max spider mines.  Overtime
   delay defaults to 20 seconds and has a range of 20 seconds to 99.
   The number of timeouts defaults to 0 and should only be used during
   league play set to whatever the league rules are.  The range is 0 to 3
   Timeout duration is the number of seconds in real time that they timeout
   delay is good for.  This defaults to 30 seconds and has a range from 30
   to 180 seconds.  This can be set and will not have an affect on whether
   someone can call a timeout or not.  Maximum spider mines is the number
   of active spider mines on the playing field that each player can have.
   The default is 2 and has a range from 2 to 9.
Overtime Faceoff
   Starting with this version, if both teams are tied at the end of regulation
   play, the ball is removed from play and another faceoff will occur after
   the overtime delay is exhausted.
Disabled Weapons
   During deadball situations, weapons are disabled to ensure no killing
   takes place  between rounds or during timeouts.  This also prevents 
   tactics of leaving little "presents" on the other team's spawn points right
   before respawn for faceoff.  Boosts are still available for celebratory
   purposes.
Goal Scoring
   Scoring has changed to now prevent "stoled!" by the defensive team.  This
   normally happens when the defensive team is trying to make a stop and
   ends up penalizing the defense for not trying and not rewarding the offensive
   team's efforts.  If an offensive player was one of the last 3 players to
   touch the ball, that player will get credit for the score.

MAC user notes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Installing CarBall on the Mac is pretty straightforward. Just copy the 
folders to your UT2004 folder, overwriting any existing files and that's 
all you need :)

Important information for Zip distribution users.

For those who are using the Zip distribution you must add some extra 
lines to your UT2004.ini file before CarBall will run.

-Add the following lines in UT2004.ini's [Core.System] section..

Paths=../CBall/Animations/*.ukx
Paths=../CBall/Maps/*.ut2
Paths=../CBall/Textures/*.utx
Paths=../CBall/StaticMeshes/*.usx
Paths=../CBall/Sounds/*.uax

-Server Admins will need to add the following lines in UT2004.ini's
