A few minutes of the beginning of the training mission, provides a glimpse of things being worked on.
This is basically a port of DX to UT2K4. New features include LIPSinc conversations, ragdoll physics, intelligent AI, faster load times, higher res textures and models, better frame rate, etc. There will be some modifications to the original game however they wont impact the plot. We plan to make the game more challenging in some areas and force the player to consider their options instead of running up and slicing everyong to death(our apologies in advance to the dragon's tooth fanatics). Some other advantages to doing this go beyond merely the port itself. The new engine will provide more freedom to implement new ideas and also allows for more artistic freedom for level designers given the advances of the unreal editor. Specifically the new engine has made a co-op play option very easy to implement and the other forms of multiplayer much less laggy.
