Taking a leaf out of Toon Country's book, Glacial Sanctuary is a pure, cell-shaded map for UT2004. It's almost XIII 'cept with Unreal weapons :) It's a DM, and not amazingly huge, but its a fair size for 1 on 1 and small DM matches. Perhaps some colors have been a little overused, such as blue, and I'm not sure what I think about the sky - It seems too cartoony for this level. However, what really matters is playability and how fun it is to play.
Now I've said that, this map aint perfect, and the huge walls around the level seem a bit enclosing, but the effects on the little fountain areas are very cool. I would have liked to have seen some snow effects, instead of a bluey floor, and also every room is a little devoid of detail. Still, its a nice look for a level, and although in my opinion, not quite on a par with Toon Country, it provided an interesting battle arena to play in.

Comments: A lot of people have asked me whether there would be any cell shaded maps UT2004. Well, here's your answer. It's not particularly ambitious, and it's a little bare, but here it is. I didn't originally intend for it, but this is a very versatile map! It's works well for a lot of different play styles, like: Normal gravity, low gravity, normal weapons, instagib and is good for different gametypes, like DM/TDM/INV. I've also tried to create a good sense of balance and flow, even though the map is fairly open. I've also left the whole map open for use. So all parts of the map are fair game. And no, there's no easter egg. Of course not? Why would I do a silly thing like that...
