King of the hill using DM, DOM, CTF and BOM maps. Maps can have more than on Hill Zones, to change the zone you need to login as Admin or be playing offline All official ut2004 maps have at least one zone in the initial install and New Zones maybe created using console commands and onscreen menu (see below)

To install the .ut4mod version, open KotH.ut4mod and follow the instructions on the screen. If this doesn't work try downloading and running "ut2004 regfixer" first.
To install the .zip version, extract it to your base UT2004 folder. By default that's C:\UT2004

Creating/Editing Custom Hill Zones
Creating Zones can only be created edited Offline(Instant Action) and I recommend disabling bots whilst doing so.
To Create a new zone, spawn into map and travel to the place you wish to create the new zone. Then type CreateNewZone ZoneName
You will then automatically be presented with the zone editing menu.
Editing The zone editing menu will appear when a zone is created or by typing EditZone in the command console. You can also type EditZone ZoneName if you wish edit a different zone from the current one. The Zone Edit Menu allows you to Move, Resize, change type, and delete a custom hill zone, by choosing numbered selections. Moving and Resizing is achieved by choosing an axis, and using the arrow keys*. This allows you to still walk around and view the zone from different angles with W,A,S,D (assuming default keybindings)
Three additional console commands are available when editing a zone -
SetZoneLocation X Y Z** - Move the zone to the X Y Z location.
SetZoneScale X Y Z** - Set the Size to the X Y Z size (multiples of the default size)
ShowZoneData - Shows the current Name, Location, Size and type of the zone.

* the WASD key can be used instead by adding "bUseAltEditingKeys=true" to the [KotH2K4.KotHMatch] section of your ut2004.ini file.
** the X Y Z values must be integers - UT2004 appears unable to accept more than one floating point value parameter from the command line. This means that better control can be achieved using the keys.
