The missing references are set to NULL and you can ignore that. The stairs around the Central Tower dont have a precise collision hull. They do collide with everythink but not with raptors or 'dead' bodys. I decided not to give them a collision because there are a lot of polygons to collide to. Without there could be better performance in gameplay. Anyway, there is no realy need of a precise collision hull in that place. Sometimes bots fall in water and dont find the right way out. I placed a small demolition on water volume to solve that problem ;) If you fall in water and there is no way out in the near you can dive and the kill value is much higher and faster. So you can easily 'die' and respawn. The bots use the lift in central tower and they all want to use it at same time. I placed several lift-exits in different distances but sometimes the bots still block the lift for a moment. ============================================================ Installation ------------ Unzip ONS-WarLords.ut2. Store the *.ut2 file in your Maps\ directory, then either doubleclick on it, or type open ONS-WarLords in the console, or select the Map in a Botmatch or an Internet game. ============================================================ Extended Description -------------------- ============================================================ Author's Notes -------------- This is my second map - the first one i dont really want to name here ;) - and i spent a lot of time at this one. The process of designing, leveling and learning took a year with some breakes. In this year i learned a lot of the fantastic UnrealEd and the very good (and free) Blender programm for creating of static meshes. Blender comes with an UT2004 plugin and i really can recommended that nice programm! Most of you dont like bots but for me they are very interesting, especially the AI. Bot pathing is very time intensive because you need to rebuild the hole map for every little change. I created a very complex path network in that map with lots of testings. 25% of the hole leveling process i spent in designing that network. There are several sniping actors placed and i try to let the bots do all the things you can do. Try a botmatch, it could be nice!
