Here's a cartoonish skin from KDR_11k! Dl it now and give it a shot!

Information about Sion is sparse. She is a character from the "dojin" (if I got that right it means indy) game Tsuki Hime: Melty Blood, a spin-off (or something) of the hentai game Tsuki Hime. The game itself is a 2d fighting game for the PC with high production values and deep gameplay that got recently turned into an arcade game. Since getting a copy of the game is damn hard for a non-Japanese as few importers carry indy games I only know the character from the demo which lacks the story mode and therefore any information on her background story. I'm going by what I found on the net here. Sion is an alchemist and fights with a whip-like device that allows her to read other people's minds. During some adventure she got bitten by a vampire and thus transformed into one herself. She's trying to hunt down the vampire that did this to her and at the same time searches for a cure (just killing your infector doesn't turn you back, obviously). Since even Melty Blood still has dating sim aspects, Sion of course falls in love with some guy named Shiki (psychopatic anime loser boy who cuts people into pieces). But I think I shouldn't tell you too much about the love life of the person on the other end of the Flak Cannon, right?

Information about Sion is sparse. She is a character from the "dojin" (if I got that right it means indy) game Tsuki Hime: Melty Blood, a spin-off (or something) of the hentai game Tsuki Hime.
Yes, I am aware that "nosferatu" does not necessarily mean vampire, but it sounds nice, ok?

Technical Details:
Sion weights in at 1239 vertices and 2418 triangles. She uses two 1024x1024 DXT1 textures (one light version and one dark version of the body that are blended together by the shader using the cubemap), 6 64x64 RGB8 textures (celshader cubemap, compressing them crashed UED therefore they're uncompressed) and one 256x256 DXT5 texture (for the wire). The polycount is a bit below the average but the texture usage is a bit higher (and it involves shaders!).
There are two versions included, one celshaded, one not. The celshaded one is fullbright with the celshader cubemap overlayed. It does not react to the lights in a level. Since in UT2004 the lighting is rarely so dark that it makes a difference (most levels are well lit everywhere) this shouldn't become an issue, but some gametypes or maps might be designed around darkness and low visibility, for those I'd recommend the diffuse-only version.
The celshader doesn't use the standard approach of multiplying the texture with a cubemap but instead uses a light and a dark version of the teexture and a cubemap as a mask to blend between them. The disadvantage is higher texture memory usage and you need a second combiner if you want an outline. Since I don't know how many combiners I can stack before issues with older graphics cards arise (my GF6800 does everything but that's to be expected) and the outline wasn't very noticeable in the heat of the battle anyway, I dropped it. The advantage to this shader is that you can control how the different parts of the model shade and get e.g. better skintones. If the light and dark textures were different characters or something that would be even more interesting. I plan on exploring the possibilities of this technique with another model.
The standard HumanFemale skeleton and animset were used for the model.

Known Issues:
Slight deformation issues with her skirt. Skirts are something you're not supposed to model.
The celshaded version doesn't show any overlay shaders (lightning/ASMD/GES/Link hit, shield). Probably an issue with self illumination shaders.

Redistribution:
This model may only be redistributed with the readme intact and free of charge. Any modifications to the model must be properly declared in a file included in the archieve (can be appended to this file) and credits must be given properly (that doesn't just mean my name, but yours as well, after all I don't want to get blamed for some third party's modifications to the model).
Selling this model isn't just disrespectful of my work, it's a rip off and, more important, making money of other people's intellectual property (that constitutes copyright infringement).
If you care and the site still exists, you can find the model (and others) on my homepage at http://members.tripod.de/KDR_11k/ and probably a few other sites later on.

Since this model is distributed for free, I will not accept liability for any damage, direct or indirect, caused by the proper or improper usage of this model or any associated content. If you, for some reason, had to pay money for this, smack the scammer a good one and demand your money back.
The character "Sion Eltnam Atlasia" is the intellectual property of TYPE-MOON.
