Stunt Man gives the player new moves (dive, superjump, hover, glue, slomo and rage) plus a bunch of new slomo weapons including 6 Kung Fu moves and a Pipe melee weapon. Unlimited walldodges and jump boosts mean you can pull off some amazing moves around maps, especially when combined with slomo, superjump and dive.
Version 2 features the Glue Mode, which enables players to move on any surface regardless of gravity, and Kung Fu, with a variety of moves to smack your opponent down. A small but fun mutator!
Stunt Man - A mutator for UT2004 by the Fraghouse Mod Team (http://fraghouse.beyondunreal.com) ------------------ 1. Installation Here is a root structure displaying where each file should go. .. UT2004 folder --- System StuntMan.u StuntMan.ucl StuntMan.int StuntManConfig.ini Stunt Man Readme.txt Run UT2004, and from the Mutators list select Stunt Man and select a map to play on - preferably one with some good room for movement. 2. Stunt Man.. do I get to be one? Pretty much! What Stunt Man does is give you a few extra moves (Dive, Superjump, Slomo and Hover) and also gives you unlimited walldodges and jump boosts. However, version 2 improves on the original by providing you with new slomo weapons (with projectile bullets) plus 6 Kung Fu moves, Glue mode, a Pipe melee weapon and a Rage powerup, plus some improved netcode. Before you play, don't forget to head over to the Controls menu to bind your new keys for the various moves. //////////////// MOVES //////////////// Dive makes you, er, dive in the direction that your momentum is travelling - not the direction of your mouse view. Say you were strafing left but aiming all over the place, you would still dive left. Superjump is a Matrix-esque jump where you go further upwards than you do forwards. Handy as a boost or if you're in a firefight. Hover is another Matrix-like move where you stay dead in the air and don't move at all. Of course, you're always a sitting duck when using the hover, but you can hit the key again to resume normal movement. Unlimited walldodges and jump boosts mean you can pull off some amazing moves around maps, especially when combined with slomo, superjump and dive. Glue mode is the definitive way of getting round a map. Simply activate, and you can travel on any surface. Combine this with slomo and a machine gun and you can really give your opponents a headache! You can also find hiding places, then deactivate to come swooping down on your opponent. Jump Nudge is a handy move that not many players will be aware of in the furore. Basically, jumping into your opponent will damage them. Handy if you combine this with kung fu or if you are taken by surprise. When in doubt, jump into your foes! //////////////// WEAPONS //////////////// Standard slomo weapons (projectile bullets): Machine gun, Pistol, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, Throwing Disc. Kung Fu: you get 6 different moves to pull off with Kung Fu selected. While running or standing still, you get normal punches and kicks. If you jump while attacking, you can do a two-footed takedown and a bicycle kick. If you crouch and then attack, you can do either a handspring (360 attack radius) or a powerful backflip kick. Pipe: replacing the bio rifle is the Pipe melee weapon, which allows you to brain your opponent to death using 4 different moves. When running, jumping or walking the attacks are simply a backhand and a swing. If you attack when crouched, however, you can either do a mega swing (very effective as a finisher) or a pole boost, which projects you forward in the direction you are facing. //////////////// POWERUPS //////////////// Slomo, of course, slows things down in style so you can get your shots in and perfect those multiple walldodges to fly across a map. Bear in mind that you need to have picked up a Slomo Powerup (replaces health packs) before you can use this. Rage sums up what this powerup does perfectly. If you pick up a Rage powerup (replaces regular shield packs) and hit the Rage key, all weapon pickup areas will explode, killing any players nearby - including yourself. //////////////// BONUS //////////////// Bonus feature; if playing on a server, any admin when logged in can use the command 'mutate kungfu' without the quotes for a kung fu only match. Sometimes you've just got to get in close... //////////////// PLAYING TIPS //////////////// * When in slomo, if someone is nailing you with a shock rifle, minigun or lightning gun, escape using the dive and superjump keys, since the sudden movement will be unexpected. * In slomo, you can really exploit your unlimited walldodges and jump boosts to the full. You can stay off the floor of a medium-sized room for the whole match. * The player who activated slomo will have an advantage of faster movement and berserk weapons. If you pick up a slomo powerup and use it during slomo, you will gain those advantages too. When whoever used slomo is killed, time returns to normal. * If engaging in a Kung Fu duel, an effective method is to wait for your opponent to dodge at you, then swerve and dodge just as they land near you and attack them. Don't forget your dive and superjump keys. Have fun! 3. Who made this? How can I contact them?
