Wehtam Invasion

Gametype Description:

Tired of Shooting the same old monsters, with the same old gun? Wehtam Invasion throws you in the jaws of death and pits you against 13 altered monsters, with new abilities and serious fire power. Your only hope? The Most advance form of instagib weapon available. The Magic Wand. Using the Magic Wand mutator you can switch effortlessly between the deadliest form of instagib weapon, and your trusty translocator (team boosting is also available).  Think invasion has given you all it can offer, THINK AGAIN!


Installation:

Inside the WehtamInvasion2.zip folder you'll find 3 folders entitled "System", "Textures" and "Animations". Just Copy the files from within these folders to the folders of same name in your UT2004 directory. 


Magic Wand Mutator:

The Magic Wand Mutator works in the same manner as the instagib and zoom-instagib mutators. it provides optional translocator and team boost support.  It is RECOMMENDED to play Wehtam Invasion with the Magic Wand as it gives you a marginal chance of winning.


Wave Configuration (IMPORTANT):

To custom configure the waves in Wehtam Invasion, refer to the Waves.jpg image in the WehtamInvasion2.zip to see which classic invasion monsters refer to the Wehtam Invasion variations. the Waves Configuration window in UT2004 will still display the classic monster names, so please refer to the provided image.  


Improvements made since Wehtam Invasion 1.0:

*)  Removed overpowered Magic Wand Alt fire
*)  Added new "plasmagib" alt fire projectiles
*)  Toned down primary weapon fire sound
*)  Reduced default number of waves to 8
*)  Increased default monster popularity
*)  Added new "Blue Goop Skaarj" to the monster list
*)  Reduced size of WINV radar
*)  Relocated WINV radar to very top of screen
*)  Retextured Magic Wand accordingly
*)  Other players appear to hold the Magic Wand (instead of instagib rifle)
