Faraleth is the author's version of UT2k4's Gen Mo Kai character Faraleth. There has been changes to the character design that feel better reflect the characters back story and identity while still trying to uses as many elements as could be done from the original UT2k4 character design. There is also custom animations for this game character. The author used 3D Studio Max's Biped to make a custom rig and created custom animations to work with this character.

Features Include

  • Character now found in Krall Faction
  • 8160 Polys
  • Custom built model and Biped character rig
  • All custom animations, run, walk, jump, death, taunt ect. Only animation offsets were not created. (done)
  • Custom textures mostly done. Symbols taken from original ut2k4 faraleth textures. (new)
  • Physics and cloth (Cloth still needs tweaking) (updated)
  • Uses Epic's human gibs
  • Uses Genmokai Sound and voice audio from ut2k4 (new)
  • Removed FPS arms for now. Using Krall arms instead.

This is my version of UT2k4's Gen Mo Kai character Faraleth.  I've made changes to the character design
that I feel better reflect the characters backstory and identity while still trying to uses as many elements
as I could from the orginal UT2k4 character design.  I also wanted to take this opportunity to create a set of
custom animations for a game character.  I used 3D Studio Max's Biped to make a cutsom rig and created custom
animations to work with this character.


To install:

- Put the files CH_GMK_Anims.upk, CH_GMK_SndF, CH_GMK_Faraleth.upk, and the folder "GenMoKai" into your
  "UTGamePublishedCookedPCCustomChars" folder.
- Put the UT_GenMoKai.u file into your "UTGamePublishedCookedPCScript" folder.
- Put the GenMoKai.int file into your "UTGameLocalization" folder.

If you don't have any of these folders go ahead and make them first.  All of these files and folders
should reside in your user data folder which by defualt is your "My DocumentsMy GamesUnreal Tournament 3" folder.



Removing the old version:

If you have the beta1 release please remove the CH_GMKFem1.upk and UTF_GenMoKai.u files.  The other files can be 
overwritten.  Also please remove the following lines from your UTCustomChar.ini file:
