Hey folks, I'd like to take this time to announce new features which are coming to UT200xFiles over the next month, and some which the vigilant will notice have already been implemented. Many of these new features are focused on community involvement.

Unreal Tournament Proudly introducing UT200xFiles' official support for Unreal Tournament! That's right, we've taken a leap back down to the series' roots and are currently building a file archive for Unreal Tournament '99. Over this week, and in the coming months, we'll be adding maps, mods, mutators, and utilities related to the game that started it all. Editorials One of the features we've wanted to implement for a while is an editorials/articles database. Now, it's finally going to get done. Not only will staff members be adding editorials and articles, but we also want YOU, the community, to submit your own! We'll gladly add any suitable contribution, but the following are a few good examples of what we'd like:

• Your Unreal Series Game Reviews
• Hardware Reviews
• Gameplay/Strategy Guides
• Unreal and Unreal 2 Walkthroughs
• Performance Guides
• Fan-fiction Stories

Over the weekend, there'll be a page added up giving more details on the database and how to submit editorials, and the database itself will be implemented when we have some starting content for it. Tutorials Database Likewise, we're also planning on adding a tutorials database. While the two could be integrated easily, we're keeping them seperate for ease of use. If you'd like to contribute some tutorials, just email us at files[AT]ut200xfiles[DOT]com with the subject "Tutorial Submission: (tutorial title)" and with the tutorial(s) attached in a text file(s). File Reviews Here at UT200xFiles, we've decided to change our review policy to more in-depth reviews. While this isn't exactly a new feature, I thought it'd be nice to let everyone know. Contests Over the next year or so, we're going to be organising several competitions. Naturally, since we haven't organised them, I can't tell you much about them, but at least you know they're coming. Unreal Insider Starting sometime in the next few months, we'll be doing our own localised version of the 'FileFront Network Insider' that some of you may have noticed. In this bi-weekly newsletter, we'll be featuring both official news and news from around the community. New Staff With support for four games and a lot of files out there to host, we're under-staffed. As it is, we're looking for three file posters and a news/article writer/poster. If you think what you've got what it takes and would like to be part of the team, fill out the Application Form! Suggestions What's a site without it's community? If you want to have your say in UT200xFiles, feel free to send in your suggestions for the site! You can do this in any medium, be it email or by sending me a PM directly on the forums. We'll consider any and all suggestions.
