Blizzard have recently suspended over 350,000 Battle.net accounts ranging from all of it's games including Starcraft and Diablo II and not forgetting Warcraft III. They stated the main reason was because the use of third party hacks was going up to a new level and the game needed to be played fairly and all players should respect that.

The CD keys for the games have been suspended for 30 days and if the person who owns a CD key that has been suspended because of that reason hacks again he or she will be banned permanently.

Blizzard will continue to use their right to close accounts and ban CD-keys if more players are caught cheating on battle.net service. Please refrain from cheating online since it ruins the game play for other players.
