There are some great improvements/fixes found in 1.5, some to note are: - Added the Chaotic Sparks spell to the Firelord instead of the Hands of Hell spell. - Reworked almost the whole AI: - Added a way to return to your base without dying. - Fixed a bug with Corpse Explosion, it was using a wrong area of effect. - Fixed an initialization memory leak. - Changed Self Destruction's tooltip, the old was horrible.
This is still a great map based on a great storey, it just got better!

Whether human, orc, elf, naga or demon, everyone's dream is to win there and achieve the greatest honor possible: to be a champion of Azeroth's Arcane Arena. Suggested Players: 12 Map Size: 64 X 64 Tileset: Cityscape More details: - 22 Heroes all with different abilities. - Tons of Jass Enhanced spells and items, an average of over 3 custom spells per Hero. - AI that controls computer players and players that leaves the game's Heroes. Heroes under the effects of this AI will move, attack, pickup and use items and learn and cast spells. - Team based (4 teams with 3 players on each), meaning that you won't see those nasty all vs. one fights. - Each player has to vote for the wanted game duration. Then the average time is calculated and the team with most kills when that time has elapsed wins. - Is pretty balanced, no cheap tomes in shops for example. - Multiplayer-friendly size, but not totally ripped of custom models/icons. - No leaks, meaning that the map won't be slower as time flies. - Pretty fast loading time and execution time, so it shouldn't be laggy. - A Hero selection system that doesn't suck (Vexorian's). - Help menu and tips that makes learning how things works easy for people new to the map. - Inventory system featuring a backpack and equipable items. - Duelling system. - You do NOT have to type annoying text messages to activate special features. -------------------- Questions and/or comments? Send them in person to: http://aaa.wc3jass.com v 1.5: Additions: - Added the Chaotic Sparks spell to the Firelord instead of the Hands of Hell spell. - Added a system that does that when a Hero is killed by a neutral unit, the player that damaged him/her last time will be credited for the kill. - Reworked almost the whole AI: - AI controlled heroes will now use some spells they didn't use before. - The AI will find the targets to attack in an intelligent way, they will go for the weakest targets and several AI players on the same team will attack the same players. - The AI will post text messages in certain situations. - Even though AI controlled Heroes won't use the Inventory System, they will still get the bonuses of the items they pickup. - Added AI for units summoned by AI controlled heroes. - AI controlled players gets an [AI] prefix to their names. - Added a way to return to your base without dying. Fixes/Improvements: - Fixed a hotkey error in Lava Aura. - Fixed a bug with Corpse Explosion, it was using a wrong area of effect. - Optimized the map preview, this cuts down the map's size. - Some abilities used by the duelling system was not preloaded, this is fixed so the map won't lag a few seconds when the duelling system is initialized. - Fixed an initialization memory leak. - I edited the Shockwave model, the edited version shouldn't cause as much lag as the original did in the Holy Nova spell. - Fixed a bug with the Arcane Hunter, his scorescreen image was smaller than the other Heroes' score screen images. - I found an ugly bug from Blizzard: Whirlwind (Bladestorm) isn't able to damage paused units, this made it useless against units the player had just hit with Leap Attack. The spell's damage is now triggered, to fix this bug. - Changed Self Destruction's tooltip, the old was horrible. - Imroved the spells, some of them was causing massive lag. This was fixed by removing a lot of unneeded temp objects and by dropping those boolean expressions that used massive I2S and stuff like that. - Fixed a bug when a unit was affected by Geyser and a duel with that unit started, it was causing minor problems (mostly looked bad), but is fixed now. - I was told, that units with too high life can cause desyncs, so the dummy and building units' HP was decreased. - Fixed a bug in the Pandora's Box item that caused units hit to flee like crazy, if the spell turned out to be negative. - Some other minor text changes. Balance Changes - Slightly increased Whirlwind's duration and mana cost. - Self Destruction now deals damage equal to 150% of the Abomination's life. - Disease deals more damage at level 2. - Geyser has a lot shorter delay time. - Dramatically increased the chance that creeps will drop a Pandora's Box item. - Potion of Greater Healing and Health Stone were healing the same amount of damage, but Health Stone was 150 gold cheaper than Potion of Greater Healing, so I reduced the damage Health Stone heals.
