File Description

Welcome to Nighthaven - Power War, a battle between three different opponents across a rugged war torn landscape. Fight as either the brutal Warlord, the mobile Ranger or the ever oppressive Minion Master as you duke it out in a giant free for all battle, with each player having their own unique abilities to turn the tide in their favor.

Nighthaven is a three player map designed by Blizzard Entertainment for a FFA setting, as you can expect the map itself is copyright to Blizzard, so this developer makes no claim to how the terrain, doodads and whatnot are placed and how the initial map was created. What he is responsible for are the triggers, new units, tech tree updates etc etc etc that have turned the map from just simple Nighthaven into Nighthaven - Power War.

This map is designed for three players to duke it out in a FFA across a small/medium sized map with the need to hack through the forest defeating any attempts at an early rush. The players each have a unique name and race, as well as a unique power which sets them apart from the other players. They are:

The Warlord (Human):

The Warlord is all about kills, for every kill of the opposite team he earns he gets closer to the reward which is a unique hero to decimate the enemy forces before him. These units are not official warcraft heroes, but improved and unique regular units with higher attack, hit point and defense values.

The Ranger (Night Elf):

The Ranger is all about mobility, there are 4 circles of power on the map, each one will teleport the unit who uses it to another area of the map. The circles are player restricted, meaning that only the ranger can use them. If you find one, guard it well in case the ranger uses it to attack your base.

The Minion Master (Undead):

The Minion Master will always have an army at his call, the skeletal minions are weaker than most units, but make up for it in number. As long as the Minion master has less units than either of the other two players, he will continue to receive skeleton minions at a given location.
