We are proud to once again present the most recent version of the popular Night of the Dead: Aftermath, for your enjoyment! Alot of glitches have been fixed, and the gameplay has been improved. NOTD: Aftermath is a survival game; It has a steep learning curve and a save system to store Marine Experience. Objectives are relayed throughout the game and the Marines must do their best to complete them while surviving the constant onslaught of horrors.

A little background: In September 2037, a mysterious viral outbreak in Boston 4 days ago led the city to shut down and the entire state of Massachusetts to be placed under quarantine. Many early Marine Corps elements sent to facilitate the evacuation of the city have been wiped out, detailed by the events of Night of the Dead 2. In the past 36 hours, the US Military finally gained an upperhand and the outbreak was steadily brought under control. With state borders secured, Marine Expeditionary Units have begun patrolling the outlying towns for signs of contamination. Echo Company was one of these fateful units which found itself in the middle of the heaviest concentrations of unknown entities.

Some bugfixes include: '-cancel' is disabled during EM firing. (Demon12) Fixed some skill problems with the initial Hero in Deathmatch. Added a failsafe to prevent multiple Chapters running. (DronZ) AI Corpsmen will not cauterize Marines with less than 20 HP. (Deftmana) Arclite Hecate's Burst Fire fuel consumption issue fixed. (Dano6655) Fixed Gargoyle typo in Delta Operator's transmission in Airfield Defense. (Anubis Fremén) Fixed a potential crash issue with the mini-Marine ammunition system. (Pipedream) Fixed a problem with Force Recon sight range loss after first auto-reload. (Achorus)

New Features and Improvements: Machine Gunners now have a different attack sound. Destroyed Helicopters will now deal AOE damage to nearby units. (xtoilet) Combat Engineer kill factor increased to 1.5. (hopeng2001) Updated rifle round sound effects. (illidan92) The Cloud will now not appear during Convoy mission. Nerfed Zulu dogs and civilians. (Demon12) More Zulus now go after the crash site survivors in Black Hawk Down mission. (JUNKIE) Updated Marine skin. (illidan92, kann[nIx]) Navy Corpsmen now available to Privates. Combat Engineer rank requirement upgraded to Private First Class. Experience code renewal implemented. The Cloud will not appear if the average rank of the squad is below Corporal. All units you control now contribute to hits taken calculations. In the past, only Heroes affected it.

- AI functionality retained in Prometheus showdown when all Marines are dead.
- You will now automatically jump to the furthest distance you can if your target point is out of range.
- Jump range increased with momentum.
- Designated Marksman gets 40 bonus damage and 100/80/60/40/20 ms reduction when using Optical Scope. (max)
- Control Aircraft and Repair ability added to Pilot. Pilot added to pool of possible mini Marines. (John_S)
- Sight radius reduced by 300 when reloading for all classes except Designated Marksman and Delta Operator. (John_S)
- Light Weapons Training 3 removes sight range reduction during reload.
