Heres what the author said about his map:
Hanging over the head of every survivor is a clock - slowing counting down the remaining seconds.
As the sun falls beneath the trees at S.T.A.R.S. headquarters a fierce windstorm begins to stir on the not too distant horizon. There amid the silence of another day's end comes a distress signal over the radio. Before the caller's request can be made clear the transmission abruptly ends.
After several attempts to re-establish communication with stations within Raccoon City, all of which were unsuccessful, a decision was made to dispatch Bravo team to investigate. Hours later their communication lines also went dead, and even later still there is no word on their return...
This is the TFT version of my older map (Gravano's Resident Evil). Several bugs have been addressed, there are many new features, and the custom music still remains.
-30 Level heroes -Custom spells -Extremely unique trigger items -8 Heroes to choose from -Borrows from RE Storyline -4 difficulties, but always HARD -Can be beaten by 1-6 players. Units previously or never controlled by the other slots can be commandeered. -Immersive terrain and atmosphere -Wicked bosses -Puzzle system (which can be turned off) -Special Abilities unlocked for each hero once they reach level 10. Ability points (lumber) allow them to activate these moves every so often.
When your health reaches zero the game doesn't end, but a low vitality runs you the risk of infection. Infected heroes can be cured by an assortment of means (Red Herbs), and you are notified any time a hero is inflicted with this status. Infected heroes who are not cured will turn into hostile non-controllable zombies.
Enjoy the map.
Sounds pretty cool to me. Only bad part is you'll need a high end computer and a high bandwidth modem to play this or else youll lag out when you use one of the uber awesome special effect items like will of god.
