A great mini-mod for those of you who are unsure of where to place those lovely little flags! This would be great for me because I only ever seems to place mines where n00b team mates jump onto! :-)
The Jolly Landminer Last change: Ragnar-X-, 2005-01-25 1. Description This .pk3 includes modified shaders, so that all surfaces with the shader parameter "surfaceparm landmine" appear in red color. All places where mines can be planted are marked with red colors. But there may other reasons why you can't plant, see section 4. This should work with all stock maps (Battery, Fueldump, etc.) and with all custom maps that use only default shaders. 2. Installation: Unzip the "TheJollyLandminer.pk3" file from "TheJollyLandminer.zip" and place it into the "etmain" subfolder of your Enemy Territory installation. Then run a server with "Host Game". 3. Uninstall Delete the file "TheJollyLandminer.pk3" from the "etmain" subfolder. 4. Known issues or "Help, I can't plant even if all is red!" With this .pk3 all surfaces with the shader parameter "surfaceparm landmine" appear in red color, i.e. in all these places you will be able to place landmines. But mine planting can be prevented by other circumstances: * Slope, you can't plant mines on surfaces with a steep slope. * Water, you can't plant under water (since the pliers won't work, although you can plant in shallow water when the pliers stay out of the water). 5.
