File Description

Description : This add-on acts as a transparent world map which appears over the screen. While the map is open you can see where you, your party, and/or your tombstone lies. As well, you have full character control while the map is up. This essentially means you can open the map, and then run around as normal while watching your pin update on the map.

To install: Simply unzip the file into your World of Warcraft directory.

To Use: Go to your Key Bindings, scroll down to “AlphaMap Key Bindings” and bind the toggle to a key. I have mapped mine to “Tab” and moved my enemy selection to another key. Then make sure to say “Ok” when you close the key bindings window. Once out, simply press the mapped key to toggle the AlphaMap on and off.

Known Issues:

- As a result of indicating the player with an arrow, there is now an extra icon on the map which indicates the direction of your party members when they are sufficiently far away from you. This has to do with inheriting functionality from the Minimap. If you know a good way to fix this, please let me know. I have a few ideas, but am not able to implement them at this time.
