Allows the player to have a configured default channel when opening the chat box. e.g. : when I am in a group, I like to have the party channel as default when opening the chat box. I can use /g to talk to my guild but the next time I open the chat box, it will be on party channel, not on guild channel. This is a feature I longed for since my time with the game City Of Heroes.
features : - Can be locked on say, party, raid, guild, officer and numbered channels (1,2,3, ...) - Support 2 locked channel you can switch between with a single key or command (for example : switch from guild to party channel and vice versa) - Can be configured to use a prefix when opening the chat box
* I strongly recommend to read the install.txt * * to understand how to set it up and how to use it. * Since I do not override the default open chat box command of WoW, you have to set a new key to open the chat box via ChatLock (see your key bindings option screen). The easiest way is to set [ENTER] key to open chatlock.
Changes : v 2.2 Fixed conflict with Confab Coloured messages Added auto-switch from a slot to the other if attempting to chat in a group channel while not in a group (raid or party) i.e. : if locked on party channel but not in a party, auto-switch to the other locked channel when opening the chat box v 2.1 Added the officer channel You can now set a prefix when opening the chatbox (such as a '/') (see install.txt for details) v 2.0 Now you can put a lock on 2 channels and switch between them with a single key Almost complete rewriting of the code for the new feature Old configuration is obsolete so your last locked canal will not be reloaded. See instructions in install.txt for commands v 1.2.1 Bugfix for incorrect channel argument v 1.2 Can now lock on numbered channels Use : /chatlock <number> ex : /chatlock 3 v 1.1.2 toc file updated for interface version 1300 install.txt updated for better understanding. v 1.1.1 Can lock on party, guild, raid or say channel
