This mod allows users to see votes for any Playerep member on a WoW realm and to vote for them from within the game. All scores are uploaded and stored on an external, secure host. They are also checked at the host, so people can not game the system by changing any of the files (unlike other mods which are easily hacked and whose scores can be propagated then to other players). You need to be a Playerep member to use the mod, and you need to make a WoW profile first before using the mod. Sign up: https://www.playerep.com/register/.
Playerep is a free, non-advertising community voting service for any MMP game. Members vote regularly for one another to create reputation scores. There are seven things to vote on, the results of which decay and expire after a certain period. Members have to be voted on regularly to create and maintain any score. Several oversight processes are in place to avoid spoilers and grief block voting. All scores are stored on a secure, network host at http://www.playerep.com.
All scores for all players on a particular realm are downloaded automatically through an included patcher. Saved scores are removed automatically after each session. All realms are supported. Players can show their reputation scores with custom sigs that can be used on the official or other player forums.
To emphasize, a player must be first a Playerep member to use the mod. You can register for free at http://www.playerep.com/register/. The patcher must be run before each session to download votes, and then left to run during play. After playing WoW, scores can then be uploaded to the servers and temporary files are removed before the next session. All persistent data is stored on the network to avoid exploits.
